Finding Me

‘Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate’. This was said by Carl Jung many years ago and self discovery is the process of making that unconscious conscious.

I said last week that to find your voice is to first find who you are. You can’t become the person you don’t know. To become is to first make conscious that which you are. Knowing who you are is finding out what you’re made of, why you’re here, what you can and should be doing, why you do the things you do, where your passion and talent meet, etc.

Personally, my life changed when I spent close to two years to actively find out who I am and why I’m here. It cost me a lot of time, effort and money. But after that discovery, my life found clarity, order, alignment and became more purposeful. The result is the person you see today.

As a professional life Coach of over 10 years, I can tell you that most of the time, what gets us unstuck to proceed to the next level is a deeper self awareness. We live in a rapidly changing world where everything is changing so fast and so are we. Therefore, to find your feet and adapt to the changing times and finding your voice depends to a very large extent on your self awareness and situational awareness (knowing who you are and where you are)

Until I hear from you soon, keep being the River of Greatness that you are. Have a very fruitful week.
